A few days ago, they were in Buenos Aires giving a live concert, and obviously I had the obligation of being there :P. It was an EPIC show, terrific. No words for describing.<br />So I decided to make a very special painting and a time lapse video with the digital process, but with a different editing and post-production style of my previous works. This is my tribute to the band. She is a huge fan of The Beatles, so I had to search a lot of info and reference to create an "original painting" for her. So I chose the acrylics because they are faster in drying and I´m always hurry hehe. I love traditional media as much as digital one, and it was a cool moment of practicing. I guess I´ll paint more frequently with our old friend: the traditional brush... I was invited by the brand Genius, who provided me the digital tablets and mediums to do some illustrations at the event. I was speaking with the people, answering questions and giving some tips for the digital paintings in Photoshop. There were two big monitors where I showed my videos and all the process of my work. Computex is a huge technology trade show in Taiwan, where a lot of brands expose their newest products. In this case, the brand "Genius KYE" (wich makes computer peripherals) invited me there to do a presentation and some illustrations with their digital tablets. They built a special section with three monitors and heavy sound in their booth to me and it was really, really cool. I did a lot of nice paintings (in real time) and a "live speed painting" of Alice, a famous taiwanese girl who was the main host in the shows. Computex es una feria gigantezca de tecnología en donde las diferentes marcas presentan sus nuevos productos. En este caso particular, la marca "Genius" (que fabrica periféricos de computación) me invitó a Taiwán para realizar presentaciones e ilustraciones en vivo utilizando las tabletas digitales que fabrica. Ellos montaron una sección especialmente dedicada al speedpainting con tres monitores y un gran sonido, lo cual estuvo muy bueno. Hice varias pinturas digitales y un speedpainting en particular de una taiwanesa famosa llamada Alice, quien fue la presentadora de los shows.
